Urodzony w 1983 r. w Zgierzu. Studia wokalne pod kierunkiem prof. Włodzimierza Zalewskiego rozpoczął w 2002 r. na wydziale wokalno - aktorskim Akademii Muzycznej im. Grażyny i Kiejstuta Bacewiczów w Łodzi. Ukończył je z wyróżnieniem w 2007 r. Podczas studiów otrzymał swój pierwszy kontrakt zagraniczny w premierze opery Josepha Haydna L'incontro improvviso w Schlosstheater Rheinsberg. Po otrzymaniu tytułu magistra sztuki w 2007 r. rozpoczął pracę w Operze Wrocławskiej.
Do ważniejszych partii w jego repertuarze należą m. in. role mozartowskie: Figaro oraz Hrabia Almaviva w Weselu Figara, a także Don Alfonso w Cosi fan tutte. Występował także w partiach: Don Basilio w Cyruliku sewilskim G. Rossiniego, Uberto w La serva padrona G. Pergolesiego, Froscha w Zemście nietoperza J. Straussa, Schaunarda w Cyganerii G. Pucciniego oraz Zbigniewa w Strasznym dworze S. Moniuszki. W Operze Wrocławskiej wystąpił także w operach współczesnych: w partii Szatana w Raju utraconym K. Pendereckiego oraz Woodravena w Matce czarnoskrzydłych snów H. Kulenty.
W sezonie 2012/2013 podjął studia w Międzynarodowym Studio Operowym (IOS) przy Operze w Zurychu. Tam zdobywał szlify wokalne i aktorskie pod opieką Francisco Araiza, Brigitte Fassbaender, Luana de Vol, Fabio Luisi czy Christof Loy. Na deskach Opery Zuryskiej śpiewał w spektaklach: Salome (R. Strauss), Rigoletto (G. Verdi), Madame Butterfly (G. Puccini)orazw światowej premierze opery Schatzinsel (F. Schwemmer) oraz jedną z partii solowych podczas gali verdiowskiej.

Born in 1983 in Zgierz, in 2002 he began to study singing with Włodzimierz Zalewski at the Faculty of Singing and Acting, Łódź Academy of Music. He graduated with distinction in 2007 and began working at the Wrocław Opera, singing roles from both the classical and contemporary repertoire. In the 2012/2013 season he joined the International Opera Studio at the Zurich Opera, where he polished his vocal and acting skills under such outstanding figures of opera as Francisco Araiza, Brigitte Fassbaender, Luana de Vol, Fabio Luisi and Christof Loy. At the Zurich Opera he sang in R. Strauss’ Salome, G. Verdi’s Rigoletto, G. Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and the world premiere of F. Schwemmer’s opera Schatzinsel. Since the 2015/2016 season he has again been one of the Wrocław Opera’s soloists. The most important roles in his repertoire include those in operas by W.A. Mozart: Don Giovanni, Figaro and Count Alma viva in The Marriage of Figaro, and Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte; G. Rossini: Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Don Basilio and Doctor Bartolo in The Barber of Seville; and G. Verdi: Oberto in Oberto, Ferrando in Il Trovatore; as well as Zbigniew in The Haunted Manor and Stolnik in Halka by S. Moniuszko, Zurga in G. Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers, Friedrich in R. Wagner’s Das Liebesverbot, Baron Ochs in R. Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier, Satan in K. Penderecki’s Paradise Lost, Woodraven in Kulenty’s The Mother of Black-Winged Dreams and Frosch in J. Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. Tomasz Rudnicki also develops his skills in the chamber repertoire and oeuvres of composers like M. Mussorgsky, J. Brahms, J. Strauss, R. Schumann or J. Ibert. Recently he sung in Wrocław Opera: Shaunard in G. Puccini’s La Bohème.
