Shantana was born  in London, England in 2003 where she started her ballet training at the age of 3. At 7 and 11 she joined associate programmes of Central School of Ballet and The Royal Ballet School. At 14 she gained scholarship for full-time ballet training at Young Dancers Academy where she trained with Anna Du Boisson. At 17 she was offered the  funded place at English National Ballet School in London where she graduated in 2023.  During her training she was awarded scholarships for  several vocational schools, for National Youth Ballet of GB company, English Youth Ballet and several summer schools. During that time she danced with English National Ballet company in performances of Nutcracker and Coppelia; she was awarded the Best Performer Award for her lead role in The Secret Garden with London Children's Ballet, The Jill Toolkey Best Young Performer Award for season 2019 with NYB of GB and she worked with choreographers such as Ruth Brill, Didy Weldman, Erico Montes, Gemma Lee, Monique Jonas and Morgann Runacre-Temple. Shantana joined the Wrocław Opera Ballet in the season 2023/24.
