Riccardo Persico was born in Bergamo, Italy where he started dancing at 10 years old. In 2017, he won a scholarship which gave him the possibility to participate to the international Ballet masterclasses in Prague. He graduated from Liceo Artistico Giacomo e Pio Manzù in 2021 with an arti figurative diploma. In 2021, Riccardo moved to Brussels, Belgium, to be part of the Europa Danse Company where he stayed 3 years. During his time there, he got the opportunity to dance as a soloist in the pieces Casse-Noisette and Romeo and Juliette from Laurent Drousie and work with choreographers such as William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Thierry Malandain, Jacopo Godani.

Riccardo joined the Wroclaw Opera Ballet for the 2024/25 season.
