Rental of the Wrocław Opera

The Wrocław Opera is housed in one of the oldest opera houses in Poland. The building was constructed in 1841, and its current appearance is largely the result of reconstruction following a fire in 1871.

At the heart of the theatre lies a 550 m² stage and an auditorium lavishly decorated with 23-carat gold. The gold in the auditorium covers an area of 10,000 m². The ceiling is crowned by an ornate medallion and portraits of the greatest opera composers, whilst the painting above the orchestra pit depicts Apollo amongst the Muses. The theatre’s historic interior also houses the stately Imperial Salon in the Empire style, a foyer featuring five crystal chandeliers, whilst the corridors themselves also catch the eye with their ornate marble flooring and oak parquet with mahogany inlays.

In addition, the Wrocław Opera also features a number of rooms in the administrative wing, such as rehearsal rooms, ballet studios and dressing rooms.
