Marcos Marqueta was born in Sitges, Barcelona, and began dancing at the age of seven at the Lolita Vilalta School in his hometown. During this time, he also performed with Tour Jove Ballet, participating in various national and international competitions. In 2020, Marcos joined the Oriol Martorell Conservatory in Barcelona. Three years later, in 2023, he was given the opportunity to continue his training at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam, where he has been studying for the past two years. While there, he has performed works by choreographers such as Goyo Montero and August Bournonville. Marcos is joining the Wroclaw Opera Ballet for the 2025/26 season.
