Kai Kanzaki was born in Tokyo and began ballet training at the age of three. After graduating from the Escola Artística de Dança do Conservatório Nacional (EDCN) in Portugal in 2019, he joined the State Ballet of Georgia as a Soloist. In 2021, he moved to Hong Kong Ballet, where he performed numerous principal and soloist roles until 2025. Kai joined the Wrocław Opera Ballet for the 2025/26 season.
