A graduate of the Vocal Department at the State Secondary Music School in Wrocław and the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he studied voice under Prof. Bogdan Makal, Ph.D. (diploma with honors). Erasmus scholarship recipient at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in the voice class of Prof. Lars Woldt. Currently a lecturer in the Vocal Department at his alma mater.
Winner of the First Prize at the Franciszka Platówna National Vocal Competition in Wrocław, the Second Prize at the International Vocal Competition in Kyiv (Ukraine), the Second Prize at the Karol Kurpiński National Competition in Włoszakowice, third prize and a special prize at the International Vocal Competition in Kaunas (Lithuania), and the Faculty of Culture Award at the Academic Competition for the Interpretation of Songs by Fryderyk Chopin and Robert Schumann in Wrocław; he was a finalist in the 1st Andrzej Hiolski International Vocal Competition in Kudowa-Zdrój. He participated in vocal courses in Duszniki Zdrój, the Course on the Interpretation of Cantata and Oratorio Music as part of the “Wratislavia Cantans” International Festival, and a master class with Prof. Teresa Żylis-Gara, Eytan Pessen, Andrzej Dobber, Prof. Anita Garanca, Prof. Valery Buymistr, Prof. Sabina Martinaitytė, and Prof. Zdzisław Krzywicki. He is a participant in the Young Talents Training Program—Opera Academy—as part of the European Network of Opera Academies at the Grand Theater in Warsaw.
He has performed at the Kieler Schloss Philharmonic Hall, the Teatro Comunale di Imola lo Stignani, the Salle Pleyel, the NOSPR in Katowice, the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Theater St. Gallen, the Teatro Regio in Parma, the Grand Theater – National Opera in Warsaw, the Wrocław Opera, as well as in Łódź, Kraków, Poznań, Opole, Jelenia Góra, Rzeszów, Częstochowa, and Kalisz. He has participated in the BBC Proms (Royal Albert Hall) in London, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Kiel, the Ohrid Summer Festival, the “Wratislavia Cantans” International Festival, the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, the Opera Rara Festival in Kraków, Music in Old Kraków, Music in Old Lviv, the Leo Festival in Wrocław, and the Moniuszko Festival in Kudowa-Zdrój. He has collaborated with Paul McCreesh, Patrick Fournillier, Giancarlo Guerrero, Alejo Perez, Paul Goodwin, Łukasz Borowicz, Amos Talmon, Ruben Silva, Tadeusz Wojciechowski, Benjamin Bayl, Stanisław Gałooski, Jerzy Salwarowski, Andrzej Kosendiak, Agnieszka Franków-Żelazny, Jan Tomasz Adamus, Włodzimierz Szymański, Przemysław Stanisławski, Calixto Bieito, Roberto Skolmowski, Barbara Wysocka, and Ernst Kovacic. From the very beginning, he was a founding member of the “Collegium Zieleński” ensemble, with which he recorded Mikołaj Zieleński’s *Offertoria* and *Communiones* (Opera Omnia)—an album awarded the Golden Orpheus by the *Académie du Disque Lyrique* in France and the Fryderyk Award in the Early Music category.
He also collaborates with the early music ensembles “Capella Cracoviensis,” “Capella Viridimontana,” and the “Wrocław Baroque Ensemble” (Fryderyk Award 2018), as well as the Puppet Theater in Wrocław. With the National Forum of Music Choir, he has given numerous concerts in Poland and abroad, and has participated in recordings of H. Berlioz’s *Grande Messe des Morts*, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s *Elijah* (winner of the *Diapason d’Or de l’Année* award), B. Britten’s *War Requiem* (BBC Music Magazine Award in the Choral Music of the Year category), and in 2017, the Fryderyk Award in the Classical Music category for an album featuring an a cappella program. Since 2018, he has been a member and artistic director of the Wrocław Men’s Octet, with which he presents a cappella choral and ensemble music performed by a male ensemble.
He has performed in numerous concerts and productions both in Poland and abroad, featuring a repertoire that includes opera, oratorio, art songs, and Orthodox church music. He is a scholarship recipient from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Mayor of Wrocław.
