He was born in Wrocław. He began his career by collaborating on concerts (among others, of Sonique) and co-creating productions at, among others, Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław. The next
stage of his career was working with Holiday on Ice. Then, thanks to it, he was noticed by Show Time, which invited him to lead the lighting department and direct the lights at the Tihany Spectacular Circus in Mexico. In 2004, he was invited by the management of the newly renovated Wrocław Opera to work as a light director. As a light director, he has worked on such super productions of Wrocław Opera as R. Wagner’s Ring of the Nibelung tetralogy at the Centennial Hall, G. Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love at the Pergola, G. Verdi’s Otello on the Sand Island as well as Turandot by G. Puccini and G. Verdi’s Masked Ball at the Olympic Stadium. He had the opportunity to create unique images in each of these places thanks to the large and unusual theatre space. Since 2006, as a freelance artist, he has collaborated with most opera houses and musical theatres in Poland (S. Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań, the Grand Theatre — National Opera in Warsaw, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, Castle Opera in Szczecin, Kraków Opera, Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław, Silesian Opera, Roma Music Theatre in Warsaw, Wrocław Opera, J. Kochanowski Theatre in Opole). He also has lighting credits for overseas productions at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, ABAO Bilbao and the Teatro Real in Madrid, Tel Aviv Opera House, Teatro Colon in Argentina and Teatro Liryco Trieste. He works with top directors and choreographers, such as Michał Znaniecki, Norbert Raczkowski, Maria Sartova, Laco Adamik, Marek Weiss, Jan Klata, Hans-Peter Lehmann, Dieter Kaegi, Ignacio Garcia, Wojciech Kościelniak. Since 2008, he has produced light and water fixture for the multimedia fountain in Wrocław and, since 2013, for the multimedia fountain in Rzeszów. Since 2011, he has been a permanent resident of the Bella SkyWay Festival in Toruń.
