Born in Goiânia - Brazil, Armando began his dance studies in 2009 at Studio Dançarte with the ballet and jazz teachers Gisela Vaz and Ariadna Vaz. In 2014 he joined the Balé do Teatro Escola Basileu França, where he was trained by the teachers Simone Malta and Olga Dolganova. He graduated as Choreographer Assistant under the PRONATEC Brazilian Program in 2014, as well as a Classical Ballet Technician in 2016 at the Centro de Educação Profissional em Artes Basileu França. Between that time Armando had participated in the Summer Program Intensive of the Miami City Ballet School in 2011 and 2013. Has also represented Brazil in competitions such as the finals of the Youth America Grand Prix in the USA, in 2015, 2016 and 2017, the International Ballet Competition of Moscow, Russia, in 2017, and many other brazilian competitions. In 2017 he was invited to join the Joburg Ballet, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Throughout his professional career he had the opportunity to dance in many principal roles, such as the Sugar Plum's Cavalier (Nutcracker), Hillarion (Giselle), Escamillo (Carmen), Frondoso (Laurencia) Lucien (Paquita), Armand (La Traviata), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), and many contemporary works. In 2018 he was choreographer assistant in the production 'Whispers Of My Soul', choreographed by Redha Benteifour. In 2020 he participated in the program for new choreographers at the Joburg Ballet, 'Raw', and in the same year he was appointed to be Company Representative and also one of the founding members for the South African Dance Alliance. Performed as a guest in The Nutcracker with the Tivoli Ballet Company in Copenhagen, Denmark, for their December 2022 production with costumes and settings designed by Her Majesty, Queen Margrethe II. Armando joined the Wroclaw Opera Ballet as a Coryphée in October 2023.
