Come and sing within the beautiful, historic walls of the Wrocław Opera House, in excellent company!
The Amanti dell'Opera Choir is a musical project aimed at people who want to take a break from their daily responsibilities, recharge their batteries, experience the joy and satisfaction of making music together, and, at the same time, make new acquaintances and friends. We do not require any musical training or the ability to read music. All you need is a positive attitude, commitment, a willingness to have fun, and above all, a love of singing together!
The programme is divided into two parts:
Part one includes a warm-up, vocal warm-ups and projection exercises. We work on diction and articulation, vocal tone, correct posture, and learn basic musical terms to make the sessions easier.
The second part focuses on learning a selected piece from the choral repertoire – including excerpts from the operatic repertoire. We will sing, among other things, songs by various composers, patriotic songs, canons, Christmas carols, pastorals, folk melodies, as well as pieces from the popular music repertoire.
Sessions take place twice a month with piano accompaniment and last 90 minutes. Participants can also look forward to additional attractions – performances, socialising, and plenty of positive energy and the shared joy of singing.
